5-10 years of death rates in the United States have been looked at and compared with those after Fukushima, it shows that in 2011 there was an unexplained increase in deaths across the country. The mountain regions are showing the highest increase (because of rain and snow fall). 10% increase in death rate (in 2011) in the mountainous areas because of exposure to precipitation. Oregon, Washington State, British Columbia were hit hard.

If you are exposed to rain or snow (even worse), leave your rain or snow gear outside. Keep it out of the house.
