TransformFrom the website —“Michael R. Walli (63), Megan Rice shcj (82), Greg Boertje-Obed, (57), succeeded in a disarmament action at the Oak Ridge Y-12 Nuclear facility July 26, 2012.

A Nun and two activists calling themselves Transform Now Plowshares hammered on the cornerstone of the newly built Highly-Enriched Uranium Manufacturing Facility (HEUMF), splashed human blood and left four spray painted tags on the recent construction which read: Woe to the empire of blood; The fruit of justice is peace; Work for peace not for war; and Plowshares please Isaiah.”

More information:

Maybe everyone does not agree with their tactics, but what we can agree on is that Nuclear power is not getting any better or safer and something has to be done to let our legislators and the people doing this know that it is wrong. We don’t want these toxic dangerous plants. We don’t want to spend our money on this and endanger future generations. The Angels are with you tomorrow and through this trial. As always! 🙂
